Mammotion used IFA 2026 in Berlin to unveil the LUBA 4 AWD, the successor to the LUBA 2 AWD and the LUBA 3 AWD, which debuted at CES earlier this year. The home-lawn series comes in three versions, the 3000F, 6000F and 12000F, rated for lawns of up to 3,000, 6,000 and 12,000 m² respectively.
What changes
According to the company, an upgraded Tri-Fusion system keeps centimetre-level positioning, reacts to obstacles in real time and can plan routes in low light. The sensor set mentioned includes front and rear cameras and 360° LiDAR.
For a buyer, the drivetrain may be the more interesting part. Bidirectional driving and independent front-wheel steering let each wheel follow a gentle arc instead of a sharp U-turn. That is said to reduce torn turf, brown rings and wheel tracks. These are manufacturer claims that have not yet been independently tested.
A dedicated edge-cutting accessory is also on offer, meant to trim flush against walls, fences and garden beds and cut down on manual finishing. No price has been announced: pricing and availability are promised for later this year and will vary by market. Mammotion also showed Maston, a commercial mowing solution for large grounds with fleet management, available to pre-order through authorised distributors in Europe and Australia.
