Flourish, a startup split between San Francisco and Paris and founded in January 2026, has introduced Flourish One, a wheeled humanoid home robot aimed at busy parents. According to The Robot Report, it is priced at about €3,180 ($3,555). Sales are only about to open, and the article gives no preorder date.
What the robot actually offers
The robot sits on a six-wheel base, has two arms rated for 1.5 kg each and two-fingered grippers with wrist cameras. A small lidar near the floor detects obstacles, and the battery is designed for 12 hours of arm operation, according to the company. A Raspberry Pi keeps costs down: founder Antoine Marcel says an NVIDIA GPU would immediately double the price.
Owners teach chores through a smartphone app that is still in development, and the robot mirrors the phone's movements. The company claims a new task can be learned in under 30 minutes. Skills are trained in the cloud, so a network connection is required. The robot is not waterproof and will not do dishes; it is meant for tidying, taking out trash and wiping tables.
Editor's view: home humanoids are moving towards the price of a good laptop, but a buyer in Croatia or the EU lacks key facts for now. The article mentions no warranty, service terms, shipping to Europe or import costs. With a first run of 50 hand-built units, waiting for real-world reviews looks sensible.
